About me
Pauline Rigby is a freelance writer, editor and researcher based in the UK. With a doctorate in optoelectronics, she specializes in writing about optical communications components and systems, fibre-to-the-home, and broadband — in other words, the equipment and technology used to build the internet. She was previously editor of FibreSystems Europe magazine, a business title focused on fibre-optics.
Pauline is currently working with the FTTH Council Europe, ghost writing and editing the FTTH Business Guide — the first-ever comprehensive guide to planning and executing a successful fibre-to-the-home network.
She is also a member of the ECOC Exhibition Advisory Committee for 2010, and writes about international broadband issues for the website www.samknows.com.
